TO ENSURE THE SAFETY, WELL-BEING AND HEALTH OF OUR CATS, WE UNDERTAKE NOT TO USE ANY OF THESE OBJECTS:

No toys with small detachable parts or dangerous chewable objects: we avoid toys that can be dismantled or accidentally swallowed, such as rubber bands or scoubidous.

No accessories that fit too tightly: we take care to choose harnesses, collars and leads that do not fit too tightly, as inappropriate equipment can cause injury, discomfort or even death.

No toxic plants: we avoid plants and flowers that can be toxic to cats, such as lily of the valley, lilies or poinsettia, as they can cause digestive problems or poisoning.

No activity overload, abrupt changes or over-stimulation: we maintain a calm, stable environment, allowing cats to rest, play in safety and avoid the stress associated with electric, noisy, lighted or laser- and ultrasound-type toys.

No contact with unvaccinated or undewormed animals: we guarantee that cats and kittens are not in contact with any other animal that could expose them to infectious or parasitic diseases.
A litter tray with a lid is ideal, as it makes it easy for the cat to scratch the litter to bury its needs.

For trips or visits to the vet, choose a carrier adapted to your cat's size, with enough space for her to stand, sit or lie down comfortably.
Make sure it's clean before each use to avoid stress. Add a bed sheet and absorbent mat to the bottom to prevent stress-related accidents.

Using a harness with a retractable lead can be a good option for walking your cat safely. The harness provides better support without putting pressure on the neck, while the retractable lead offers more freedom of movement while maintaining control. However, it's important to choose a well-fitting harness and always supervise your cat when out and about to avoid any risk of accident.

Grooming a cat is essential to maintaining its health and well-being. Although cats are naturally clean and very independent when it comes to hygiene, it is sometimes necessary to give them extra support, particularly during changes in temperature.
Grooming includes gestures such as brushing to avoid tangles and limit excessive hair loss, as well as ear and eye cleaning. Regular grooming also helps to strengthen the bond between cat and owner, while preventing skin or health problems. In some cases, a full bath may also be necessary.
For cats living in flats, some owners may be tempted to lightly clip their claws. However, it is important to stress that this practice is not recommended. A cat's claws are essential to its survival and well-being. They serve not only as a means of defence, but also for climbing, exploring and taking refuge in the event of danger. What's more, claws are a natural way for cats to mark their territory. It is therefore preferable to provide alternatives, such as scratching posts, to enable your cat to satisfy its needs without compromising its health.
The same goes for trimming hair and whiskers. Contrary to what some people think, it is not advisable to shear a cat or trim its hair, except in cases of medical necessity. A cat's coat plays an important role in regulating its temperature and protecting it from external aggression. What's more, whiskers are essential sensory organs for cats, helping them to assess their environment and move around safely. Cutting them would disrupt its balance and its perception of its space. So it's best to leave your cat's coat as it is, and make sure it is brushed regularly.
