Health Guide

Having a cat is a commitment. This little companion deserves more than a full bowl and a comfy cushion: he needs care, attention and a safe environment. A cat's well-being depends above all on prevention. Many everyday situations can pose a danger to their health, often without them realising it.

Feline diseases, poisonous plants and parasites such as fleas and worms are very real threats. Without proper supervision and care, these problems can quickly get worse. A simple oversight can have serious consequences. Fortunately, with the right reflexes, it's easy to avoid them.

Welcoming a kitten into a new home is also a delicate stage. You have to give her time to adapt, offer her a safe, calm space, and avoid rushing her. The first few days are crucial: they lay the foundations for a lasting relationship of trust. Vaccinations, the right food, learning to use the litter tray... everything needs to be put in place from the start.

And then there's the holidays. Going away is often a headache for cat owners. Do you need a cat sitter? Or take it with you? Each solution requires a minimum of organisation. You can't improvise. A cat left alone for too long, without supervision or care, can quickly be in danger, even in a flat.

This guide will give you the essentials you need to know to give your cat - or kitten - a healthy, serene and gentle life. You don't need to be an expert: you just need to be attentive, informed and make the right choices at the right time.
